This is our way of getting to know you. It is a few questions focused on learning more about your family. This is a way to quickly determine if we are the right fit for you. We may request a more in-depth interview at our discretion, as well.

Please follow the link below, click "Apply for Puppy", and complete the application.

Step Two

We work off of a waiting list to place our puppies. How it works:

Waiting List

Pay a non-refundable $500 deposit, which will place you on the waiting list. When the puppy is born, we will contact you and you will have the option of passing on a puppy if you do not wish to have a puppy at that time, which will push you down the list.

You will be required to sign a Deposit Consent Form when making your deposit. Please sign in black ink and mail the form to us. Without this form, your deposit will be returned within one week and you will not be placed on the waiting list.

You will also be asked to review our contract so you can be sure it is something you are comfortable committing to.

For more information as to why the deposit is non-refundable, please CLICK HERE.

Waiting List FAQS

Step Three

When a puppy becomes available, you will be contacted. You have the option of accepting a puppy or passing on the current litter. You will keep your spot on the list and will be able to choose from a future litter.

At time of selection (around 6 to 8 weeks of a puppy's life) you will be able to choose from our available puppies. Puppy selection is done in the order you are on the waitlist. Occasionally, there will only be one puppy left fitting your criteria, at which time you have the option to choose this puppy or pass, but stay on the waiting list.

We do not accept deposits without screening puppy buyers. If you do not have prior approval from Pleasant Meadows, your deposit will be returned.

Step Four

Once you choose your puppy, we provide updates once a week. If we did much more than that, we would never get anything done. But rest assured, we are preparing your little one to become the best he or she can possibly be.

Be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page for full litter updates, as well! Like our page by CLICKING HERE.

Step Five

As the puppy progresses, we will choose a go home date for them (somewhere between 9 and 10 weeks of age) and work with owners to decide times for pickup. This is a collaborative effort with some people driving long distances or flying to pick up their puppy in person.  We are located a little less than an hour away from Charlotte Douglas Airport in NC.  If flying, the new owner needs to confirm with the airline that the puppy will be allowed to travel home as a carry-on in cabin with the owner.

We do not ship puppies as cargo, all puppies must be picked up in person.  This is in the pup's best interest and we make no exceptions.

We can also refer you to a great ground pet transport service.

We require the remaining balance of the puppy to be paid in CASH at time of pickup.
