Hello and welcome to Pleasant Meadows! My husband and I are small, home-based breeders of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. We are located near Mooresville, NC. Our dogs are our babies, raised in our homes as part of the family. They are happy, healthy, and spoiled.

The focus of the Pleasant Meadows Cavalier Breeding Program is health of the breed, as well as temperament. Our Cavies are OFA tested, DNA tested for health, routinely visit a vet, and are up to date on their vaccines. Nutrition of our Cavaliers is very important and our dogs receive a human grade raw food diet and are on a vitamin regiment. Our Cavaliers are purebred with limited AKC registration. Pet buyers are required to sign a spay/neuter contract. Pleasant Meadows has a strict spay/neuter policy. AKC paperwork will not be released until we have confirmation of spay/neuter by a licensed veterinarian.

We selectively sell puppies with breeding rights. This is only to established breeders with standards that closely align with our own.

 

A non-refundable $500 deposit, with the remainder to be paid at pick up. Deposits can be paid via the Good Dog website. Only cash will be accepted for the remainder.

All of our puppies will have their first shots and will be checked by our veterinarian before they are picked up. We do not allow our puppies to have visitors before they are picked up in an effort to protect them from potential diseases and protect our family from Covid-19. However, we can send you pictures and videos of your puppy to keep you updated on their progress! We can even schedule video chats with your puppy so they recognize you and your voice! Since we do not ship puppies, you will have the opportunity to meet your puppy upon pickup.

 

Our goal is to ensure that each of our puppies finds its forever home, however we know that sometimes things happen and we are willing to take back any puppies that we've sold at any time. All puppies born here have a special place in our hearts and will always have a home as long as we're around.

We are selective about the homes that our babies go to and reserve the right to deny the sale of a puppy.
